Operation Pause was inspired by a speech from a close friend, Robby Maschaupt, founder of Operation Wake Surf. In it, he described the ripple effect—how a single action, a moment of connection, or an act of kindness can extend far beyond its point of origin and impact lives we may never directly see. That idea left a lasting impression. It reframed how influence and leadership show up, especially within the Special Operations community. Operation Pause was built on that same principle: create intentional moments to reset, reconnect, and generate positive effects that carry outward—well beyond the individual.
